Bethan you haven't answered the question.

the policy wasn't forced upon you by those oh so nasty Labour MPs in Westminster, its your party waking up to the fact that when you are in government you cant always make populist decisions.

Another person taking a pot shot, have a look at the blog post on WRs. My son's medical condition seems fair game for a attack on me. Congrats.

Now we know why Marcus spends so much time blogging - he's been failing to turn up to any of the council meetings he was elected to go to.
Thanks Marcus, thanks New Labour! What a terrific advert for a go-getting party you are!
Excuse the sarcasm, Marcus, as it were...

Bethan,

Regardless of what Westminster has decided for English students, or Holyrood for Scottish students. The decision in Wales lies with the two parties in Government in the Senedd, that includes both Labour and Plaid Cymru. The One Wales Government have the autonomy to make their own policy, indeed only last week you were on Dragon’s Eye arguing for more of that.

You can’t blame New Labour forever…

They are failing to look at other models- concentrating on emulating the policy that Westminster has implemented- top up fees. That has been driven by Labour in Westminster as they proposed it Marcus.

Bethan,

Essentially the One Wales Government is dismissing the Plaid policy, thank god...oh wait...that means that one of the parties in the One Wales Government has reneged on a fundamental promise. I wonder which?

Sorry to be sarcastic, just a paragraph saying you are annoyed your party has not delivered a key committment would have done surely?

Its not Westminster's agenda, its the government your party belongs to. No wriggle room?
