As I understand it, the invitee was Richard Barnbrook, a member of the GLA who has selected Nick Griffin as his “plus one”. The Palace has said it has yet to approve the guest list.

Nick Griffin is not a member of the London Assembly. The invite was to all London Assembly members, one of those was the BNP’s Richard Barnbrook. He invited Griffin as his guest.

Hopefully the Royals will do the right thing and rescind the invitation based on security grounds with regards Griffin’s previous convictions.
